Integrated Services
- Overview |
|
|
|
Unlike other vendors
in the market that have grown their product sets by
acquisition, Alero’s capabilities are delivered as
modular, integrated services of the framework instead of independent products that
have to be installed, configured, and managed separately.
Customers can buy and use only what they need. The advantage is clear: a
consistent architecture that simplifies development and
dramatically reduces deployment, maintenance and support.
Alero, in a single product (framework), provides a
comprehensive set of pre-built repository, content, process, integration,
security, and event services that can be applied to any data accessed by the product, delivering a comprehensive,
uniform development environment that addresses most of the information requirements
demanded by today's development and integration initiatives.

Benefits |
|
|
|
|
These integrated services provide tangible benefits that
help us, our partners, and our customers to
differentiate from other vendors and solutions in the
same markets.
-
Unlike many vendors in the market that have grown by
acquisition and provide many of these services as
different products (many times with different
architectures, management tools, securities, etc.),
adding complexity, time, costs, and risks to any
solution; in Alero's SOA architecture, each of these
services is a set of services of the product. In
other words, Alero is a single, modular, uniform
framework under one consistent architecture, where
all the services (repository, content, process,
integration, security and event) are part of the
product and can be turned on and off with a simple
license key. Imagine being able to add all these
services to a solution in just a simple installation
versus having to perform multiple different
installations.
-
Although Alero services
can be used, and purchased, independently to meet specific requirements, when used together, they
deliver a synergy of benefits previously unavailable to enterprises: a comprehensive ECM, BPM, ECI,
and EII capabilities all rolled up in one
consistent solution under one consistent architecture.
