At the end of the workshop, students will be able to:

• Plan andperform an installation of an Alero EIM System.
• Design and configure the Alero servers that comprise the Alero system.
• Configure, manage and work with the Alero Repository Services (Alero ECM).
• Configure, manage and work with the Alero Process Services (Alero BPM).
• Configure, manage and work with the Alero Content Services.
• Configure, manage and work with the Alero Integration Services (Alero ECI and EII).
• Configure, manage and work with the Alero Security Services.
• Configure, manage and work with the Alero Event Services.
• Configure, manage and work with the Alero Management Tools.
• Maintain and operate Alero servers.
• Prepare for and implement disaster recovery solutions.
• Identify the systems administration and operation tasks in Alero that need to be performed periodically.

Before attending this workshop, students must have:

• Solid understanding of gathering business requirements.
• Experience with one or more operating systems, databases, communications protocols, and other such systems management software products.

Recommended:

• Conceptual understanding of IT projects involving information management and information architectures.
• Conceptual understanding of business process management, content management, and integration.
