Now Available!--New Adapter for Hummingbird DOCS Open from Alero Technology Giving Users Complete Data Integration Freedom

San Diego, CA – May 28, 2007 – Alero Technology, a leading global provider of Enterprise Information Management (EIM) solutions, announces today the availability of Alero for Hummingbird DOCS Open® Adapter. The adapter enables organizations to seamlessly integrate with the content managed within Hummingbird DOCS Open, now also called Livelink ECM® DOCS Open since the acquisition of Hummingbird® by Open Text®.

The Alero for Hummingbird DOCS Open Adapter provides a solution to address the connectivity between existing, or new, Web Services, .NET, Java or Windows applications, and Hummingbird DOCS Open, allowing organizations to access, manage, retrieve, store, and migrate information from or to Hummingbird DOCS Open transparently and securely. It is designed specifically for organizations needing to repurpose existing information in DOCS Open as they begin to replace, enhance, or rejuvenate, older systems, leveraging their infrastructure investments and information.

These adapters offer a user-friendly wizard to unlock data from the underlying repository allowing users to access external systems and applications with ease. The original data may or may not be edited or altered, depending on requirements and preferences, enabling organizations to comply with data security requirements.
