Alero Technology
Announces Major New Product Release for Q2 2012
Leading Enterprise Information Management
ISV, Alero Technology, has announced its most
aggresive release yet
San Diego – January 17, 2012 –
Alero Technology, a global provider of
enterprise information management (EIM)
solutions, announced today that it is currently
developing and testing a major update to its
flagship product, Alero, to be released in the
second quarter of 2012.
The Alero software product already provides an
industry leading set of tools and technologies
that allows enterprises across the country and
the world to drive efficiencies in integration,
compliance, content management, process
management and information management, but the
Q2 2012 major product release will provide an
enhanced product experience across the board for
existing and new clients alike. Alero Technology
is focused on providing a much greater amount of
functionality along with enhanced usability,
integration, and seamlessness of experience
across the enterprise. This major release
will provide several additional functional
product modules as well as more flexibility for
customers to manage information that exists
inside or outside of the enterprise.
Some of
Alero's highlights include:
-
New Records Management – Alero RM allows customers to
manage all types of records regardless of the type:
electronic, physical, and/or hybrids. In
addition to all the services provided to
store and manage documents, Alero RM provides
a full range of record management services, including
identifying, classifying, archiving, preserving, and
destroying records.
-
New Fulltext – Alero Fulltextt allows indexing predefined
document types (configurable) transparently as they
are created so users can search for documents based
on their content. Implemented as an extension to the
already powerful Alero search engine, Alero Fulltext
adds a rich query language that supports queries based
on terms, wild cards, fuzzy search, proximity, boosts,
Boolean, grouping, etc.
-
New
Aggregation Security – This module allows
aggregating (integrating) users that come
from multiple sources of information into
one virtual source. With this security
module, the users of a system can come
within multiple departments or branches of a
company and/or from multiple companies
without incurring in a major development and
expense to integrate and synchronize these
resources outside of the solution.
-
Revamped BPM – Alero BPM has been revamped
to provide more functionality, simplify
administration, and expedite the creation
and management of processes. Many additions,
enhancements, and fixes were made to the
engine and management tools to accomodate
our customers' requests and the new business
requirements.
-
Enhanced Content Storage Management – Alero
CSM has been enhanced to more accurately
calculate storage usage, improve
performance, and streamline the interfaces
to several of the specialized storage
devices supported.
-
Enhanced Content Integrity Utility
– The Alero CIU was updated and enhanced to
provide better, faster, and more accurate
results when checking the integrity of the
data in the product.
Alero Technology will begin implementing the new
product release with beta customers in the
first quarter of 2012 and will work with existing and
new customers to implement the product release
in the second quarter of 2012 as individual client
schedules allow. Alero Technology is extremely
excited about the opportunities that the next
step in the evolution of the Alero product will
provide to its clients in 2012 and
beyond.
Maurice Correa, Co-Founder and President of
Alero Technology,
said "Alero® v2012 is our most ambitious
product to date. Our users have always expressed
their satisfaction with our product, but we
wanted to take it up one notch! Version 2012 has
done that and then some."
