The Alero process services implement the business
process management (BPM) capabilities of the product.
Following is a brief description of the process services
and applications provided with the product.

Business Process
Management services
facilitate the routing of information and
include services for sequential, parallel,
conditional and rendezvous routing; looping;
deadlines; dependencies; absentee support;
notification; delegation; forms support; event
scripting; invoking applications and sub-processes;
complete audit and trail; and eight different levels
of exceptions.
Applications:

The Alero Process Designer application is
a web-based application for designing processes
graphically, including designing, configuring,
validating, deploying, importing, exporting, and
printing processes.

The Alero Process Simulator
application is a web-based application for
simulating processes graphically, including
simulating scenarios based on what-ifs, reporting
(projections, costs, etc.), importing, and exporting
scenarios.

The Alero Process Monitor
application is
a web-based application for monitoring process
graphically, including the number of instances and
their status, queue levels, reporting, activity
statistics, user statistics, etc.

The Alero Process Trace
application is a
web-based application for tracing a specific
instance of a process graphically, including
specific instance information such as the path
taken, activity or step details, a complete audit
and trail, reporting, data, etc.

The Alero Process Viewer
application is a
web-based application for viewing process
graphically.
Although Alero's process services can be acquired and
used independently to meet specific routing
requirements, when used together with the other Alero
services, you gain the synergistic benefits of
